Black Lives Matter.

Energize Colorado stands together with the Black Community to remember victims of racism and end systems of oppression.
Decades of systemic racism means that the impact of the public health, economic, and mental health crises this year have fallen disproportionately upon the Black Community and other Communities of Color. This is not just inequality and inequity — it is injustice.
Injustice can’t be fought with hashtags. It requires action. This is why we are altering our programs to support and empower businesses and organizations led by and serving people of color.
Secondly, we are rethinking the composition of our organization and the people we represent. Over the coming weeks, we will be expanding our leadership team to better represent the diversity of Colorado. As drivers of economic growth, we seek to make Colorado’s economy more inclusive. We call upon others to join us and be a part of the change.
It is our mission, as Coloradans helping Coloradans, to build a better system that works — not just for the few, but for all.
