Activating Colorado’s small business ecosystem – enabling all our small businesses to survive and thrive.

Energize Colorado offers small businesses relief and a path to recovery—from access to funding to developing new ways to engage with customers in a safe way, innovating business models, or diversifying revenue streams.

In the long term, Energize Colorado captures opportunities for structural change and innovation that will also aid small businesses in their uphill battle to remain competitive and thrive.

Catalyzing change for a more resilient and equitable small-business ecosystem across the state of Colorado.

Igniting the transformation of Colorado’s small-business ecosystem, we bring together innovative thinkers, small-business owners and entrepreneurs, and non-profit and civic partners to collaboratively tackle the biggest challenges facing small businesses. We build and test solutions that empower small businesses for economic growth through education and mentorship, technological innovation, access to capital, and investment in strategic programs creating a more resilient and inclusive economy.

Our flagship program, the Energize Gap Fund, provides small businesses with critical financial support.

We’ve supported over 2,000 Colorado businesses with over $25 million in funding. Over 90% of these funds supported BIPOC and women-owned businesses.

We have been working on numerous initiatives and projects to support small businesses in Colorado over the past year.
