Serving as a mentor has been an incredible experience that has offered me a valuable perspective. The talented entrepreneurs that I have mentored this year have all taught me lessons about creativity, tenacity and the strength of a community during these difficult times. I have so enjoyed the stories of each business owner, and as seasoned tech entrepreneur, this experience has also been a wonderful reminder that not all businesses have to be a “unicorn” to be defined as a success. I am grateful for the opportunity to mentor these wonderful business owners and for the gifts they have given me in return.
